Celebrating Emily Muskiewicz: 2025–2026 Aubrey Mitsch Memorial Scholarship Recipient

The Aubrey Mitsch Foundation is proud to announce Emily Muskiewicz as the recipient of the 2025–2026 Aubrey Mitsch Memorial Scholarship.

Emily will be attending the University of New England, where she will pursue her studies in Athletic Training.

We are excited to support Emily as she begins this next chapter of her education and works toward a career dedicated to helping others. Athletic training is a field that combines medical knowledge, compassion, and a commitment to helping people recover, perform at their best, and return to the activities they love.

Emily’s pursuit of a career in athletic training reflects the values that are at the heart of the Aubrey Mitsch Foundation. Through our scholarship program, we strive to encourage and support students who are pursuing careers in the medical field and who share a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Honoring Aubrey's Legacy

The Aubrey Mitsch Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Aubrey Nicole Mitsch, whose life was defined by her compassion, generosity, and willingness to help others.

Aubrey was an Army medic with the Maryland Army National Guard and dedicated herself to serving others. She had an infectious smile, a positive outlook on life, and a genuine ability to accept people for who they were. Helping others was simply part of who Aubrey was.

Although Aubrey's life was tragically cut short in 2020, her spirit of service continues through the work of the Aubrey Mitsch Foundation. Each scholarship recipient represents another opportunity to carry that spirit forward.
