We are deeply honored to share that our daughter, Aubrey Nicole Mitsch, has been featured in forSight 2025 News & Events Magazine published by Altru Vision, a Lions Eye Bank.
Altru Vision’s mission is to restore sight, advance knowledge, and honor the gift of life through eye donation. Their work ensures that the selfless generosity of donors continues to impact countless lives through restored vision, vital research, and education.
Aubrey’s story is now part of that mission. As an Army medic and a compassionate young woman, she dedicated her life to helping others. Even in her passing, Aubrey’s legacy lives on through the gift of sight. Her inclusion in forSight 2025 not only honors her memory but also reminds us of the power of generosity and healing that comes from organ and tissue donation.
We are grateful to Altru Vision for recognizing Aubrey’s story and for their continued efforts to bring light and vision to so many. Her legacy—of service, sacrifice, and compassion—continues to shine brightly.
